Sexy High Heels For Valentine’s Day
Red heels on Valentine’s Day is simply a must. Isn’t it? Well, in honor of our very tight and getting tighter economy, I thought I would try and find some high heel shoes for Valentine’s Day that will cheer us up and not cost arm and a leg.
So here is number one on my Valentine’s Day list…….
Sexy Shoes.com has these sexy red high heels for just $49.95. Now, I wouldn’t plan on wearing these heels too much–that heel is 51/4 inches!! But how fun for a romantic evening.

I can see some swirling around on a dance floor going on in these flirty little red heels, can’t you? These yummy shoes feature an awesome 4 1/2 inch metal rod heel with a low mini platform. Satin ties around the ankle or calf, whichever is your fancy. Best of all, for those of us on a strict shoe budget, these high heels are not too expensive at $39.95! 
For those of you not tied so much to a shoe diet ( I am sooo jealous, btw!), you should take a peek at these gorgeous Jessica Simpson Women’s Josette Heel. These classic beauties are featured at Heels.com for $74.99 ( reduced from their original $81.99). I am normally a closed toe high heel sort of a gal, but I do love these Simpson heels with their sleek 4 inch heels. They are sexy enough for Valentine’s Day and any other day of the year as well!
Sexy Boots…Yes or No?
For me..it’s pretty much a “No’. Though I suspect many a boot/shoe enthusiast will indeed love these ‘cut out’ boots from Maison Martin Margiela.
They are eye-catching, I’ll admit that. And I love the look of the boot– until I get to that big old gap! There are not many boots out there in shoe utopia I can not wrap my heart and legs around, but these may be on that short list.
Maybe if I see them on someone (with pretty feet, please), I will rethink my views. Until then, these $1,154 (Yes, you read that right!) Margiela boots will not be on my “Best Boots List.”

Angelina Snubs, Got Snubbed, But Looked Good in her Jimmy Choos!
The Internet is abuzz with talk of how Brangelina snubbed hard-working Golden Boy Ryan Seacrest at the Golden Globes last night. But what about Angelina getting a bit snubbed herself when she lost out on Best Actress to the lovely Kate Winslet? I have to admit I smiled ( a lot) when Kate in all her excitement forgot -yes, FORGOT- Angelina’s name when she was giving kudos to the other nominated actresses in the Best Actress category. Did you see the look on Angie’s face when the camera panned to her? LOL. But Kate did remember quite quickly about Angelina and mentioned her.
But we must say that Angelina (and Brad too!) looked wonderful as usual. Angie wore Versace– a beautiful dress that flowed beautifully, and paired it with some yummy Jimmy Choo “Emma” Bridal Shoes
Most Expensive Shoes at Golden Globes?
(Belated Happy New Year — High Heels Blog is back from an extended Holiday break–did you miss us?)
So we watched the stars strut down the Red Carpet at the 66th Annual Golden Globes Sunday night. We saw beautiful dresses and lots of “What were they thinking??” outfits. But of course our eyes were peeled to the carpet trying to get glimpses of spectacular heels peeking out from all those gowns.
And we spied one pair of high heels that someone wore that had a price tag of over $1400 –any guesses on which shoes were so pricey, or which starlet wore them? **Hint** Think Gladiator and Runway.
Auf! Indeed, it was the svelte Heidi Klum of course. The wife of Seal strolled the Red Carpet in Christian Louboutin 123 Duoble Platform Sandals
Looking chic and fabulous in her black and red polka dot vintage Galanos dress from the vintage boutique Decades in Los Angeles, Heidi Klum wore her $ 1495 Louboutins with some serious style.
