Kate Spade Wedge Heels

Kate Spade is one of my favorites when it comes to shoes. This spring everything is coming up wedges, and her latest “Blooming” selection is the epitome of a wedge heel sandal I would love to have in my spring closet this year!
Braided rope detail covers the outsole, and they feature a leather lining and insole. Made in Spain, these Kate Spade Wedges have 4 inch heels and a 3/4 inch platform.
Shorts, summer dresses and skirts would be adorable matched with these beautiful wedge heels!
Sexy High Heel Booties
It is a well-known documented fact that I am lover of all things boots! Whether they are ankle boties or knee high, low heel, flat or high heel, I simply love boots. So when I came across these sexy heels from Chinese Laundry, I had to sit and stare a bit.
What is there to not love about these open toe high heel booties? Seriously…they are pretty near perfection, if you ask me. I adore the 4.75 inch heel….fantastic (though a bit daunting too.) They also feature a wonderful ruched detail on the front, and a back zip closure.
Maybe the best part of these awesome booties from Chinese Laundry is the price. Yep–under $100 for all that deliciousness ($89.00, to be exact.)
Drool.
Lindsay Lohan, High Heels and George Lopez
What has Lindsay Lohan so upset with George Lopez that the actress is all a Twitter these days? It has something to do with Lohan’s High Heels and some white stuff coming out of said shoes.
Seems that Lindsay Lohan was spotted March 27 leaving a friend’s home in Los Angeles with mysterious clouds of dust billowing from her designer shoes. And of course, you know George Lopez is going to make a joke about about it, right? Which he did, on his show on March 29 Lopez, 48, jokingly claimed on his show that Lohan uses baby powder to loosen her tight high heels.
Lohan responded angrily to the joke on Twitter, telling Lopez, “Thanks for the childish comment regarding baby powder in my shoes to loosen up the leather,” “Don’t you have kids? U wouldn’t wanna hear that about them, or would you? Act like a grown man, have some respect and dignity for yourself,” she stated.
In response to Lohan’s furious post, Lopez asked her to visit his show.
“You want me to stop talking about you I will,” he tweeted. “Come and tell me … To my face … I’ll stop!! Respectfully,” he added.
So tell me, have you used baby powder to loosen your tight high heels before?

Affordable Spring Shoes
There is no doubt that the wedge heel sandals are a big shoe trend this Spring. And there are some fabulous choices out there, like these Charles David Lotus sandals!
But what if you are on a shoe budget (like me) and the price tag just doesn’t fit?
I did some browsing and came up with a few choices for us wedge heel sandal deprived consumers. We too can be chic and fashionable this spring, and still not break our shoe budgets! Check out these cute wedge sandals from the Zoe and Zac Collection at Payless.
Cute, right? And at $26.99, you will feel cute and smart in these spring sandals!
I also like these wedge slides also at Payless.
I think the ruched look on these wedge sandals would just look so cute with jeans. They feature faux suede upper with some stretch for a good fit, soft jersey lining, a padded footbed for comfort and a 3″ architectural wedge with platform. So they are not leather and made in France like these
from Robert Clergerie. But they are also not $395.00. How does a cool $22.99 sound?
And these are my favorites of the day…and at $39.95. I am in love with these adorable Steve Madden Ven Rosette Platform Wedge Sandals. These are available at DSW.com.. but I can’t guarantee how long!
So there you have it. Some adorable affordable wedge sandals for spring!
Spring and Wedge Heels Are in The Air
Wedges for Spring? Absolutely! Sun dresses, shorts and skirts all look good with a cute pair of wedge sandals. Throw on a floppy sassy summer hat and you are ready for some Spring and Summer fun in the sun.
These wedge sandals from Nine West Getby are way up there on my list of favorite summer sandals. I love the strappy look of these sandals. They feature a 4 1/4 heel and a 1 1/4 platform, leather or man made uppers and an adjustable buckle closure on the ankle strap.
I think the yellow is so pretty for Easter, and they also come in a pretty gold, light red, brown and black.
Pretty Prom Shoes

Prom 2010 is coming, and the hunt for the perfect dress and perfect shoes are underway in high schools everywhere! So here is a choice for a very pretty Prom high heel that is feminine, classy and flirty all in one.
The ruffled t-strap design is my favorite detail on these peep toe pumps by Nina. They feature a 4 inch high heel, but also have a hidden platform to add some comfort and stability. Fabulous for a night of dancing at your High School Prom! These pretty prom shoes are also available in Black, Navy, Steel and Chocolate Brown satin colors.
Red High Heels

I have said before, and will say again, every woman’s closet should have at least one pair of sexy red high heels. Preferably 3 0r 4 pairs, but you gotta have at least one! These oh so pretty red “PeekCroc” Pumps from Stuart Weitzman would fit that requisite perfectly!
The sexy peep toe and slingback styling make these red heels a versatile shoe that goes from the office to the night out on the town without a problem. The 4 inch narrow heels add to the sexiness, but there is also a hidden .75 inch platform that adds extra stability.
I can see these red shoes with skirts, suits, slacks…and looking awesome with each outfit. Day or night, get ready for some compliments in these heels!
Anna Kendrickon on Picking Oscar Heels

First-time Oscar nominee Anna Kendrick says her main concern for the Academy Awards show this Sunday, is finding a pair of shoes that won’t hurt.
“I’m just trying to sift through what heels are more comfortable on my feet. Certain Jimmy Choos and Sergio Rossi shoes are really comfortable, but it varies from shoe to shoe, so it’s kind of hit and miss, trial and error.”
Here’s wishing the the Best Supporting Actress nominee good luck with her shoes and in bringing home her first Oscar!
