Put on Your Dancing Shoes!

Wow…for a special night out on the town, these sexy high heels will make everyone look twice. These glamorous high heel sandals by Via Spiga are gorgeous though I am not sure how “danceable” they’d really be–though you can sign me up to test dance them anytime!

These sandals feature Nappa Leather uppers, leather lining and leather soles. There is an adjustable buckle at the side for a bit of ease and comfort around your ankles. The heel is pretty, but not too towering at a respectable 3 3/4 inches.

I don’t know if it is just me, but these pretty sandals make me think of Cinderella.

Yea….no glass on these shoes, and no, they certainly are not slippers of any sort, but gosh they do like princess shoes in my mind.

Summer Fun With Wedge Sandals

Yes, I have been a bit focused on Fall lately, and the shoes we have to look forward to when the days are breezy and nippy. But alas, there is still summer fun to be had yet, and these wedge sandals will certainly be some summer smiles your way!

These sandals by Jack Rogers are cute, comfy and will look great with shorts, summer skirts and relaxed jeans. The wedge heels are 4.25 inches, and there is a 1 inch platform sole to boot.

I especially love the stitched trim on these summer wedges, and the jute medallions. Although cute with jeans, personally I think these sandals call for some bare legs in shorts and feet sporting some pretty painted toenails.

Pink nails should do it!

Give Me High Heels or…Oxfords??

So here is a shoe trend for Fall 2010 that just doesn’t pass muster with me …does it you??
I just do not see the “pretty” in these shoes, nor the “sexy,” though I am sure others do.

I think I was able to tolerate the high heel version of women’s oxford shoes that were popular a couple of years ago, but these flat versions….not my cup of tea.

But what do you think? No doubt they are popular and getting more so, and are even proving challenging to buy online, but seriously?? I think if I did get the bug to wear mens shoes, I’d just snag a pair from the hubby’s closet.

Here Comes Fall…Got Clogs?

Thinking about Fall (even though it is still July…we know!)…then you must be thinking clogs. And if you aren’t, you may want to start.

Clogs will be on of the hottest trends in shoes for Fall 2010.

Yes, I am pretty sure. Yes, you should probably start scoping some out on your next shoe shopping trip. Or shoe store window shopping excursion.

Clogs are cool, comfy and so easy to slip on and off…..once you try ‘em, you will love them! (of course, these words of advice are meant only for fearers of clogs, not for those of you who have loved clogs for years!)

So check out these chic clogs from Vince Camuto. The western theme is definitely felt, but in my mind, not overpowering, I love the chunky 4 1/2 inch heels with the 1 inch platform. The belted buckle and studs really do give these clogs a very cute look.

Try wearing these with some casual jeans and a warm sweater top some chilly Fall morning, and you will be in love (well, I think so, anyway…)

Are We Looking At Fall Boots Already??

I am. But then again, I am always ready to look at cute boots! (They are my downfall, after all!) And how cute are these Enzo Angiolini boots?

I can see these cute booties making it from an early morning Saturday soccer game to a Saturday night get-together very easily! (But only if those soccer fields are not damp and soggy!) The suede boots have just the right feel of glam to them with the silver stud embellishments. They have suede uppers and a lovely side zipper.

These cute ankle boots feature a suede-covered 3 1/2 inch heel and a rubber sole (maybe they can make it to those soccer fields after all??)

They come in an adorable Kaola suede as well, which I also love but worry the color will not hold up as well as the darker brown shown here.

Crisp Fall mornings…..bring them on!

Back To School Shoes? Not Quite Yet!

Have just a little more fun before the summer is done with these beyond sexy high heels from L.A.M.B.

While I am not so much a fan of a gladiator -style boots in general, these Quintessa shoes are just the right combination of fierceness and sultry, and boot and high heel, to make me seriously fall in love. While these strappy sexy heels will probably not be making it into my closet anytime soon, I can still swoon over them from afar.

They feature twisted suede and leather uppers, and leather lining plus leather insole (sounds like they may be more comfy than they look.) Of course there is the highly desired (in my book anyway) back zipper to make putting on and taking off these strappy heels easy as pie.

I love the shape of the heel, which by the way is a modest 4 inches. You can get these sexy shoes in grey and sand as well, and actually I love all 3 colors. My first choice would probably stay the sultry black shown here, but the sand is pretty awesome as well.

These are so not your average “back to school shoes,” but they would certainly make it to the top of the class in my book!

But at almost $300–well– like I said, I will be admiring these shoes from afar.

Miss Sixty High Heels

Although the heat is on and summer is in full swing, it is never too soon to think about fall and the wonderful high heels we’ll be seeing.

I love these high heels by Miss Sixty. These shoes have a look that is sexy and stylish and somewhat unique. Instead of a normal round toe, or familiar pointy toe, these Sakura II heels by Miss Sixty feature an almond shape toe. The hidden platform combined with the sexy shape toe gives these shoes a wonderful style all their own.

The heels are 4 3/4 inches with a 1 inch platform. The distressed leather uppers are stunning in the midnight blue, but they also come in black and dark brown. And, these scrumptious pumps are priced under $100.
Check them out at Zappos.com !

Open Toe Boots by Guess

Now these open toe boots are on my “wannagetsobadly” list. I can see wearing these Guess Blarny boots right now- in summer, and way into the Fall season (probably in winter as well.)

The mesh uppers make this boot look so seriously stealth and sexy….and add in the leather straps and buckles and you have a seriously fashionable look. I know they may not appear to be the most comfortable of shoes, but looks can be deceiving, right? In fact, there is a cushioned foot-bed, and fabric lining as well for extra comfort when walking.

The heel is a fabulous 4 3/4 inches with a 1 inch platform.

There is a futuristic feel to these boots sure to make them grab attention. They also come in black, and seriously, they look very fierce in that color.

Maybe best of all? There is a back zipper which makes these stunning high heel boots easy to put on and take off!
