Purr for Pura Lopez

Spanish shoe designer Pura Lopez followed her father into the shoe industry, eventually taking over part of the family business he had started in the 1950’s. While her shoes can be pretty expensive (retailing around $600 on average), I have been able to find several websites online that sell them at prices between $150 and $300. Not too shabby, eh?

On her website, this is what Pura had to say about shoes: “Shoes are not only a complement, they are also key components expressing femininity and seduction, because it portraits the personality of who is wearing them. They are the elements that allow you to mould or to enhance the work of other designers, because an outfit is never completely defined without the appropriate pair of shoes.” Yep, that about sums it up for me!

Hi. You should try Shop.com and Head Start Shoes. Head Start has a discount on the Fall/Winter collection right now, so you can get some good deals.

    Hope this helps!

I found a great pair of shoes last week while in Granada and didn’t have the balls to buy them. After obsessing for the last week I found a website with the delectable pair called Noora. They are brilliant! I also got the gold wedges. You can find them at Footlux.com

Got something to say?
