We could’ve been together

Last week I saw a girl wearing a pair of gorgeous black calf-length boots. That instant I decided to go on a journey to find those shoes. Macys and Nordtrom didn’t have them because well, it’s not in season anymore. So I headed over to Aldos because they always seem to have boots available. Indeed they did have the ones I wanted. There it was sitting atop a shelf between it’s sisters in all it’s glory. But here’s the thing. The stilleto heels were about 4″ high. I can barely walk in a 3″. I put it on and tried to walk around the carpeted floor but I looked like I was mentruating, knees slightly bent and waddling. So I had to say goodbye to them. I was sad for awhile until I redeemed myself by purchasing a pair of chocolate leather vintage boots on ebay. Not a sad ending after all.
