German Book Cover
Most of the time I’m really a rather bookish person. I was cruising along through Amazon.com perusing the offerings when I happened on this glorious cover for a German writer’s offering. Amazing high heels–and get that clock-work on the stockings! Amazon’s editorial comment:
In less than a decade she’s made a formidable name for herself in editorial and advertising photography. Now she’s publishing two new books and like great fiction, they speak volumes.
Better Secret Heels
Continuing the saga of the secret high heels, we left our lovely (?) lady still learning how to post the particular shoe shots that would persuade her admirer to purchase her more goodies. After the dumb shoes and the downskirt shots, she started to get the picture:
Now that she’s got the idea, I’m trying to persuade her to go shoe shopping with me, try on all the FM’s in the shop, and let me shoot candids with my tiny digital secret spy camera! Aren’t these pics better, knowing there’s a real, live girl in those High Heels?
RETURN OF THE DEAD
I would post this as a mere comment but couldn’t for fear some people would overlook it. I wrote the post ‘ The Death of my Favorite Shoes’ (look it up) in March about the day my beloved black wedges passed away. I had people write to me telling me thier stories of shoes that had passed on. I am more than delighted to inform everyone that my wedges have been given another chance, in fact, I am wearing the lil beauties at this very moment! I had to search all over to find a repair shop that wanted to take on the challenge of resuscitatingthem, but I finally did. An old Italian man cockily told me that he could have it done by the end of the day - AND FOR ONLY $3!! I was in disbelief, but he did it. He really did it so I am now happily back together with my resurrected pair of gorgeous black wedges. YAY! I wish I could take everyone’s favorite pair of shoes to him so no more tears would fall for our friends, the fallen favorite shoe. Ciao!!!
PART I: Deep and High Heeled Thought
for the day of July 7th, 2005.
HOW HIGH CAN WE GET — was the original concept when the Phobos 1 - USSR Mars Orbiter/Lander was launched on 7/7/88. The skyrocket was sent to survey the ‘Martian moon Phobos’. Unfortunately, there was a command glitch and Phobos 1 - USSR Mars Orbiter/Lander was lost in transport.
WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH HIGH HEELS?
For all fashion maidens — it’s about subjectivity.
– So the question remains — how HIGH do you want to become.

Those High Heels
I was driving to work today, listening to a local radio station talk about the ten things every woman must have. One of the items was a pair of high heels that make any outfit look fabulous. I thought about whether or not I have that pair of high heels and indeed I do. For me, it’s a pair of strappy black high heels that I bought for my sister’s wedding. They are just a bit taller than most of my other heels, giving me that extra-sexy lift that boosts my confidence as well. Sure, there are other high heels in my closet and I have to admit that, on the average day, I am a flip flops kind of girl…but those sexy heels are always there in the corner, waiting to add a little sass to any outfit and a little pizzazz to any night.
Secret High Heels
Remember the woman who confided secretly to a website that her kinky boyfriend makes her take pictures of her feet and post them online? Well, I tracked her down, hoping to get more of the story. I mean, the guy obviously appreciates the shoes, no? That’s probably part of the “stuff” he buys her, I thought, for putting shots of her feet on the web. Maybe now, but they got off to a rocky start. When he first asked for pictures of her feet, she didn’t quite get the picture. Here’s what she sent him first:
and then
Finally, in desperation, he tried asking her for an “upskirt”, but she got confused, and this was the result:
Well, at least she was on the right track with the shoes. Stay tuned for better results.
High Heels For Petite Women
These won’t fit every woman, as Cinderella of Boston specifically sells fashion footwear for petite women, but if you find yourself in such a case, where it can be just as hard to find nice shoes as it is for large feet, this place may be worth a look. Sizes range from 1½ to 5½ narrow, medium or wide, and are specially crafted for women’s feet. The prices are also quite honest (around 60$/70$ for most of the models), and while the style is nothing too fancy, it seems to be appropriate for more “classic” circumstances.
