Reshaping Your Feet
I love the look of the high heel and being a short person I certainly could use the extra height, but I have noticed something alarming to me.
Remember when the big toe used to be the tallest and then each toe in turn would be a little bit smaller forming kind of a slanted line of the shape of toes ? High heels used to be the same shape. It seems like these past few years the design shape of high heels have changed to resemble an upside down V , with the index and middle toes being the tallest and the big toe shortened. That is fine except that I have had occasion to see some feet this summer shaped the same way. The two middle toes are unusually longer than the big toe.
I can only conclude that women who are wearing shoes with that shape are reshaping their toes also, and I wonder when the next style reshaping becomes popular, what happens to them, and what the next generation of feet will look like.
