Popular Shoes That Made it Down The Red Carpet
What were the most popular shoes worn at this year’s Oscars? Hiding under long flowing gowns, it is not easy to spot the shoes adorning star’s feets, but there were several shoe designers that seemed to be prevalent among the celebs.
The most common shoes seen strolling down the red carpet were peep toe heels, and sharp pointy toe heels. Also seen were the classic evening open-toe heels.
Miley Ray Cyrus did the walk in her Sergio Rossi Heels, as did Calista Flockhart and Kerri Russel. Christian Louboutin heels housed the feet of Renee Zellweger and Kristin Chenoweth.
And what was the color favorite of the stars at Oscar Night? Silver. There were the red and black heels of course walking the red carpet, but by far silver was the winning color for heels that night. Wearing silver well were Cameron Diaz, Renee Zellweger and Cate Blanchett…who all happened to choose silver hued pointy shoes.
I wonder if Oscar shoe fashion will influence Prom goers this season? What do you think? Will we be seeing “silvery proms” across high schools soon?
