Great Places to Get Heels for Less than $100

There are some great place to get heels for less than $100.  One of the first places to try is a local consignment shop.  The heels at the consignment shops are gently used.  You can find top brands and really get some excellent bargains.

Another place to get heels for less than $100 is at the local flea markets or general markets.  These are great because vendors get brand new high heels that are designer quality for wholesale prices.  They then pass the savings onto you.

Ah, now this is very true! As a shoe lover myself, I have covered a good part of the Los Angeles basin in search of top quality shoes, but at bargain prices. Thus far, I have been lucky at small neighborhood shoe boutiques and area swapmeets that have had designer or similar shoes for up to and more than half the cost of the retail price. This is ideal for the woman on a budget who wants a really nice shoe, but doesn’t want to spend a fortune.

For $100, I have walked away with four pairs of shoes either at one time or spread out throughout the course of a month, and still have had change to spare to throw in a top or a pair of pants. And this is by simply tracking down the sales and shoe selection of styles. Believe me, it’s amazing what you can find.

Now, with buying shoes that are even slightly/gently used, because I am weird about that, I really have to scrutinze the shoes very, very carefully to see just how slightly or gently used the shoe is. I have run across situations where a vendor has advertised shoes gently used, then when you go to check them out, a shoe may be missing a cap on the heel or the cap on the heel is about to fall off, or the heel itself is loose, and there are noticable scuff marks. I have seen where “genthly and slightly used” have taken on a whole new meaning — like the “buyer beware” saying. Then again, that’s just me. People where their shoes differently, it’s like re-breaking them in to be worn like you wear shoes. Even with the savings you receive.

Sometimes Goodwill is a good place to buy shoes. Once again, it’s a matter of really scrutinizing the shoe just to determine how much more life you can get out of them. From $4.99 to as high as $19, it’s not bad.

So, yes, you can get shoes for under $100. It’s about how much time you take to find them and the effort you make to get them.

Got something to say?
