Simply Gorgeous High Heels

What else can be said about these beautiful sexy high heels by Stuart Weitzman? They are simply stunning and sexy. The pointed toe pump features stunning metal (or leather) 4 inch stiletto heels. The contours of this beautiful shoe are outstanding. Classic, stylish and oh so sexy. I am in love with these high heels, and maybe if I wish hard enough I’ll find them under my Christmas Tree! Now if I could just decide which I like better…the black or the red–aw heck, just send me both, ok Santa??

When it’s not suitable to wear heels
Okay. So this has kind of been bugging me. So last month I went to the Kanye West ‘Glow in the Dark’ concert. As expected all the kids donned colorful hoodies, tshirts, and of course, shutter shades. But why were girls wearing clubbing attire and four inch pumps??? Seriously, you’re at a concert where you’re gonna be on your feet the whole time! I myself like to dress comfortably to a show like this. I’ll put on a cute top with jeans and tennis shoes cause I know that I won’t be moving out of my front row spot the entire show and I’m sure as hell not going to be sitting down in a pit. And plus there will be pushing and it’s hard to maintain your balance and spot in high heels while trying to push back crazy concertgoers.
Ladies, I know you’re all trying to look pretty, but ditch the stilettos. Instead slap on a pair of sparkly flats or Coach tennis shoes. You’re gonna be in a pool of concert goers who only, and should only care about the music than who’s wearing what.
Jimmy Choo High Heel Shoes
Jimmy Choo high heel shoes are very classy stiletto heel high heels. These shoes can really make a difference in how your feet and your legs look. One of my favorite in the Jimmy Choo high heel shoe collection is the criss-crossed sandal in silver. It has a stiletto heel and looks absolutely stunning.
You can expect to pay a lot of money for Jimmy Choo high heel shoes. He’s a very classy designer that does heels, regular women’s shoes, sunglasses and designer hand bags. For example, the criss-crossed sandle by Jimmy Choo can cost you around $700 for a pair. They are in the high end heels and very designer heels for you to wear.
Sexy Stillettos Make Sure They Fit
Stilettos are probably one of the sexiest high heels that you can wear. They can look really great on a lady and dress up an outfit. When you select stilettos to wear, make certain that they fit.
I noticed a lady the other day at the mall that had stilettos that were way to small for her feet. Instead of making her feet sexy, they looked like they’d been shoved into her high heels. Shoving your feet into high heels not only hurts but it is painful for others to look at as well.
If you get a pair of sexy stilettos that fit right, they are easy to wear. You will be comfortable in them and give off an relaxed and sultry look. Believe me if you are walking around in high heels that don’t fit, everyone will know that you are uncomfortable if not in pain.
Soften stilettos with ribbons and bows
Black stilettos are a classic that will never go out of style, they’re sexy and powerful. A woman wearing black stilettos feels amazing wearing them, like a queen with power and beauty at her disposal. But black stilettos can be a harsh fashion statement, bringing up thoughts of someone edgy and bitchy. Sometimes that’s fine, but what do you do if you want to wear your beautiful black stilettos…but want to give a softer impression than your black stilettos can give?
Enter ribbons and bows!
A bow on a shoe harkens back to adorable little girl shoes of youth. I’m not saying you want to look like a little girl to be attractive, but the black stiletto is so strong that a dash of innocence can balance that look. This shoe is a perfect example of making a black stiletto just a hint more feminine while still retaining all of the sexiness that black stilettos are known for.
Ribbons don’t necessarily soften the look, but they alter it ever so slightly. The thought of unwrapping a gift will drive your man wild when he sees these shoes on you. The ribbons make the shoe practically scream, “I’m dying to be untied and off of this leg!” Wear with caution, because when your date sees you in these shoes, he’s not going to be able to think of anything else. Don’t try discussion religion or politics, because he’ll just be picturing himself unwrapping your shoes.
The black stiletto will never go out of style, nor should it. But you can still have your black stiletto and change up how it makes you, and your date, feel with very little effort.
Stop sinking in your stilettos
I have a friend who is petrified of wearing her stilettos to a wedding. Or to lunch. Or anywhere she might have to walk on grass or dirt. It’s a shame, because she has been going to a lot of weddings and bridal showers and her best shoes have to stay at home.
We’ve all had it happen before, we’re walking across a lawn or slipping through a garden and the tip of the stiletto heel starts to sink into the ground. Throwing us off balance and (literally) keeping us on our toes.
Now there is a solution to the problem of the sinking stiletto.
A super-simple solution: you slip these clear (but slightly embellished) plastic caps on the bottom of your stiletto and you’ve got an instant sink stopper. The small, round base is all you need to keep your heel from sliding down into the mud, dirt, or grass. They come in many styles, from pastel flowers to the rhinestones shown here.
Women are also using them to bring a little extra balance to their stilettos, but be warned, they are plastic and designed to be disposable, so you can’t just put a pair on your shoes and think they’ll last as long as your shoes will. But they’re reasonably priced so you don’t have to save them for special occasions.
I recommend keeping a pair in your purse any time you’re going out in your stilettos – you never know when you’re going to go off the beaten path!
The Highest High Heels
The former champion of the high heel was a black 16cm heel by Christian Louboutin, tall and stately and beautiful. Sadly, it’s not the peak of the tall heels anymore. Dethroned by a towering 17cm (7 inch) platform stiletto (pictured). This gold and black high heel is more an artistic statement than a designer shoe, and it has fashionistas going nuts!
This is great for the petite girls. A 7-inch high heel can turn a 5′4″ lady into a 5′11″ candidate for the catwalk. Any woman can be tall. Of course, I’m 5′9″ barefoot, so this pair of heels will make me a solid 6′4″ amazon princess. Fine if I’m going out with a basketball player, but certainly not the best choice if I’m going out to dinner with my 5′10″ husband.
The popularity of these shoes, that won’t even be available until next month, is off the charts. There are waiting lists and people cannot get enough of the super-high heel.
True fashionistas are throwing caution to the wind and buying heels well into the 14-17cm range, towering on platforms and balancing like tightrope walkers. If you opt for a fasionable smaller-heeled alternative they’re known as a “selling” heel. A safer, lower version of the same heel that rocked the catwalk. A “selling” heel can be as low as 11cm. Still high, but not high enough for the fasion trendsetters.
Are you fashionista enough for 7″ of sexy, sultry, Louis Vuitton fashion? Or will you draw the line at 11cm “selling” heels that might be a little easier to walk in for those of you that actually need to walk places quickly. I’d hate to see someone rushing for a bus or a train in these heels.
Tips for Buying High Heel Shoes
There are just some of occasions that it is best to wear high heel shoes. We wouldn’t dare think of wearing flats with a nice formal or a cocktail dress. Some office suits just look better if we wear high heel shoes. It is important to think about a few things when you are purchasing high heel shoes to make your experience wearing them much better.
Tip 1: This one may seem obvious but you will be amazed at how many people overlook this tip. Make certain that the high heel shoes that you purchase actually fit the size and shape of your foot. You cannot imagine how many women end up shoving their feet into high heel shoes that are too small. Or worse yet the only size left in a popular style of high heel shoes at that particular store are too big for you. If the high heel shoes fit your foot well, they are much easier to walk in.
Tip 2: Go for off-brands that offer fashion without the high dollar price tag. There are many styles of high heel shoes that are cloned and look just like the brand names. If you clothing budget is tight, go with the off-brands to find a pair that looks like the brand names without the high dollar price tag.
Tip 3: Walk around in the high heel shoes that you want to buy. Make certain that the height isn’t too high for you. Make certain that the heel width is one that you can balance on. If you are wobbling in the store on the new pair of high heel shoes, it is best to find a different pair that you can walk in much easier.
Staying Comfortable in High Heel Shoes
High heel shoes make our legs look longer and just help our general appearance. However, it can be a challenge at times to stay comfortable in high heel shoes. One of the first things to consider for comfort when wearing high heel shoes is to purchase a pair that fits. Don’t buy the shoes if they don’t fit well and feel comfortable when you walk around in the store.
Practice walking in your high heel shoes so that you can get a feel for them. This will make it easier to walk and not be self-conscious. You’ll find that you have fewer accidental trips this way as well.
Remove your high heel shoes when you do not have to wear them. For example, put on a pair of flat slip-ons to drive places and then switch to your high heel shoes when you arrive at your destination. If you are wearing high heel shoes at work, slip them off under your desk. You can keep a pair of flat slip on shoes to wear while you’re feet are hidden in your cubicle.
Wear high heel shoes that are reasonably comfortable to start with. Remove your high heels when your feet won’t be exposed. Wear flat slip on shoes whenever possible to give your feet a break and a rest.
YSL Tribute the Hot Heel of Summer 2007
According to the New York Post, the “must have” shoe of the summer is the towering Yves Saint Laurent pump “Tribute.”
How high does it go? Five and a half inches. Ouch. (The front of the shoe does have a 1.5″ platform, though.)
This hooker-esque shoe is now being donned by many a Hollywood diva, and, as a result, is selling out in retail locations all over the place. (In London, there was a waiting list of 200 as of late April.) In fact, Tribute has proven to be so popular that many other YSL shoes (like Vichy, La Perle, Vera and Naked Kiss) now also come in a 5 1/2-inch option.
Of course, there are the downsides. These high heels come at an equally high price: about $660 (…and well over $1,000 if you’re going the eBay route). (Here’s a less expensive alternative, suggested by Batch Please.)
Also, there are the foot-cramping, ankle-twisting dangers that come with wearing heels of such precarious height. Kristopher Dukes even questions Tribute’s arch support.
But if you’re willing to ignore price and pain, Tribute is the shoe for you in 2007. It comes in two styles (Mary Jane and sling-back) and several colors (black, violet, green and red). It is also available at the slightly more tame height of 3.5″.
