A Killer Heel Holiday

Having recently broken my toe and been forced to shrink several inches back down to earth, I’ve had to explore the unthinkable -flat shoes. As even a die-hard high heel wearer like myself couldn’t manage my usual vertiginous heels with a fractured foot. Having been forced to wear moon boots and then (sequinned) slippers due to lack of low heel alternatives in my closet I made myself explore the comfortable shoe market and they don’t get much more comfortable than crocs.

Pretty they are not - but they are kind of funky. They also have a heavenly orthotic foot bed, wide and roomy and are so light you’re practically barefoot. They’re even microbial - not that High Heel Blog readers’ have anything but sweet feet! So inbetween those killer heels slip on some funky rubber shoes and give your feet a well needed break.
