2008 Styles: What’s in Store for Shoe Lovers in the New Year?

Happy 2008 to all my shoe lovers around the world! Well, in 2007 we walked away from a very exciting year with the launch of new styles and the bold re-design of styles dating back to older/earlier periods of time by the movers and the shakers of the shoe and fashion industry.

This year I am curious to see what shoe designers are going to come up with, and how they will wow us. Will they be shoes we wont be able to wait to get our hands on, or will they be shoes we’ll seem to just run away from just to keep our dignity of fashion alive? Will they be affordable, or will they cost half months salary?

Fact is, shoe designers today are quite creative and capable of shocking us in every way of the term. Even new and upcoming shoe designers are seeming to be up-to-date on fashion trends, and are keeping an eye out for what the younger and older generation are paying attention to. From the crop sweaters and jackets to the new and evolved look of boots, I am sure we are going to be surprised with what shoe designers will have to offer us. And let’s not forget our fashion designers who have stepped up their game in putting sexy and exotic shoes on our feet to accommodate the hot ensembles they create.

So, as we continue to take one step forward in 2008, let’s keep our pocket books close and our eyes open, because I am sure 2008 is going to be an exciting year for both shoe and fashion designers alike.
